CHN SPEC CS-826 Spectrophotometer
The CHN SPEC CS-826 Spectrophotometer is an all-in-one laboratory-grade color analysis system. With an ultra-large measurement chamber and the ability to handle a variety of material states, this device not only perfectly measures standard opaque solid surfaces but also accurately evaluates transparent, semi-transparent materials, and even liquids.

- Dual measurement modes (Reflectance & Transmittance): The greatest strength of the CS-826 is its simultaneous support for two measurement methods. The reflectance measurement mode (D/8) is for opaque materials (plastics, fabrics, paints), and the transmittance measurement mode (D/0) is for light-transmitting materials such as glass, films, or chemical solutions.
- Accurate optical system (SCI+SCE): In reflectance measurement mode, the device simultaneously measures both SCI (Specular Component Included) and SCE (Specular Component Excluded) components. This helps users analyze the true color of the material as well as the effect caused by surface gloss.
- Fluorescent material measurement (Integrated UV): The device is equipped with a full-spectrum LED light source combined with UV (ultraviolet) lamps. This allows the CS-826 to extremely accurately analyze samples containing Optical Brightening Agents (OBA) — a must-have feature when measuring paper, detergents, or high-end textiles.
- Laboratory-grade accuracy: The device uses a wide-band spectral sensor from 360-780nm, providing excellent repeatability at dE*ab ≤ 0.015. The inter-instrument agreement is very high, allowing multinational corporations to synchronize color standards globally.
- Positioning camera & Multiple apertures: The device integrates a high-definition camera that helps users clearly see the measurement area through the screen, which is extremely useful when measuring samples with complex patterns.
