CHN SPEC FS-24 Hyperspectral Camera (400~1700nm, 1280×1280)
The CHN SPEC FS-24 Hyperspectral Camera is an outstanding optical analysis machine, designed to generate “hyperspectral data cubes” (Hypercube). By combining an ultra-wide wavelength range from 400 nm to 1700 nm (covering both visible light VNIR and short-wave infrared SWIR) with an ultra-high resolution spatial sensor of 1280 × 1280 pixels, the FS-24 allows “seeing through” the chemical and physical properties of objects that the human eye or conventional multispectral cameras cannot perceive.

Outstanding Features
- Ultra-wide spectral range (400 – 1700 nm): The perfect combination of the visible (Visible) and infrared (NIR/SWIR) ranges helps the FS-24 analyze everything. The 400-700nm band captures surface colors, while the 700-1700nm band penetrates deep to analyze molecular composition (such as moisture, sugar content, fat, or polymer structure).
- Ultra-high spatial resolution (1280 × 1280): The large pixel size delivers incredibly sharp images. Each pixel in this 1280 × 1280 image contains not only color information but also a continuous spectral graph, helping to accurately locate the smallest surface defects or the micro-distribution of chemicals.
- Comprehensive 3D Data Cube: The device records data in 2 spatial dimensions (X, Y) and 1 spectral dimension (λ). The output is a massive data cube, allowing the extraction of the spectrum from any point on the image for in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Powerful acquisition and processing speed: The FS-24 is optimized to operate stably on high-speed industrial conveyor systems (Machine Vision) or to be integrated into laboratory R&D scanning systems.
- Dedicated analysis software: Accompanying the device is a powerful software system that supports Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Machine Learning classification, and real-time chemical composition distribution mapping.
Practical Applications
With a waveband covering infrared and excellent resolution, the CHN SPEC FS-24 is a core tool in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) systems:
- Food & Agricultural Industry: Sorting fruits by sweetness (Brix content), moisture, and ripeness; detecting hidden bruises under the peel or mold that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
- Recycling & Material Sorting: Accurately distinguishing identically colored plastics (such as PET, PE, PP, PVC) based on their infrared “spectral fingerprints”, serving smart waste recycling lines.
- Pharmaceuticals & Biomedicine: Inspecting the uniform distribution of active ingredients in tablets, detecting counterfeit drugs, or analyzing biological tissue samples without the need for dyes.
- Geological & Environmental Research: Analyzing soil moisture, mapping minerals, and inspecting the level of microplastic or chemical pollution in water/soil environments.
