Measuring Small Target Areas:
The CF-300 is capable of measuring the color of small target areas such as watch faces and straps, smartphone components, eyeglass frames, fasteners, buttons, fountain pens, etc. To measure a small target area, follow these steps:
- Ensure that the spectrophotometer is properly installed on a stable surface.
- Turn on the spectrophotometer and allow it to initialize.
- Position the small target area in front of the spectrophotometer.
- Adjust the distance between the target area and the spectrophotometer to approximately 1 mm.
- Initiate the measurement process using the software or controller provided with the spectrophotometer.
- Record or analyze the measurement data as required.
Non-Contact Measurement:
The CF-300 utilizes an integrating sphere that enables color measurements at a distance of 1 mm from the target object. This non-contact measurement feature is highly useful when measuring the color of cosmetics like lipstick, foundation, wet paint, or other targets that could stain the instrument during contact measurement. To perform a non-contact measurement, follow these steps:
- Ensure that the spectrophotometer is properly installed on a stable surface.
- Turn on the spectrophotometer and allow it to initialize.
