Bypassing the surface color factors visible to the naked eye, the FS-17 delves into identifying the “spectral fingerprint” of materials. • Short-wave infrared band (900 – 1700 nm): The core characteristic of SWIR rays is their strong interaction with molecular bonds, especially water, fat, protein, and polymer structures. This allows the FS-17 to extract and accurately quantify the chemical composition of a sample through a single image scan.
• Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) “see-through” solution: In the 900 – 1700 nm waveband, many materials that are opaque under visible light (such as silicon semiconductor wafers, thin plastic films, and packaging shells) become transparent.
